Young Athlete Training
Young athlete development is a passion of ours at NEMO Fitness. We train athletes to learn and practice the proper lifting form, while having good quality movement patterns. Building strength and power on top of this foundation will enable athletes to be highly resistant to injury and perform at a high level in their sport.
Our athlete training sessions are for kids ages 11 and up and last for 6 weeks. Athletes will train in small groups ranging from 4-12. We will track athlete progress every workout to show athletic progression. Your athlete will gain confidence as they watch their strength go up and their speed times improve.
Your athlete will get:
use of our gym facility and equipment
an enthusiastic trainer planning workouts that are designed to have a high carry-over to your sport
A functional movement screen and Y balance test to measure their susceptibility to injury
Two 60-75 minute workouts a week (12 total workouts)
